• New version (Plastic handle as opposed to aluminum handle found on the older style) has a bigger valve with additional strainer (filter).
• The strainer (filter) protects the valves from wooden particles. The bigger valve with the hexagon can be assembled and disassembled for maintenance.
• New version has a steel ball and a valve seat made of steel
• If you are buying your first high pressure gun, choose the rod style, its best suited for the tubes of grease, this is the same gun that Weinig uses.
