So you just bought a new Delta 22-590 planer, now is the time to complete the purchase by switching out your old style head with a byrd insert replacement.

**all shelix heads for benchtop planer will be slightly smaller in diameter than the original cutting ciorcle by a 1/16" +/- to allow you to slide head into machine with tips on.  You can recalibrate or reposition  your index mark/tape on side of machine to compensate for change.

Comes complete with all 40 factory inserts (shelix insert kn400).   Head gets installed without tips, once its slid through, owner will install the tips.  Sorry, the new deltas changed the frame.

We will provide a torx wrench.  All you need to do is install it, it will change your life!
