The Shelix head arrived safe and in a timely manner. I installed it a couple days ago and WOW it has exceeded my expectations!
Everything I read on the internet recommends the 600X "ZZ" bearing as a replacement but the bearings on the original Delta are sealed on both sides. I'm just curious why everyone chooses a shielded bearing when doing this swap and not the sealed type? I'm not complaining or unhappy in any way just curious...
